Northern Lite owners take their 4-season truck campers to some amazing locations. Douglas Blake recently sent in a write up and photos of his recent adventure in Columbia during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I’m retired military. After 5 years of traveling all over North America/Mexico we took the leap and drove down through Central America. 6 months later we shipped our truck and camper to Colombia. Unfortunately, we had to put our travels on hold due to the Covid-19 crisis. We found a secure storage spot for our rig in the mountains above Medellin, Colombia. We boarded a US Embassy evacuation flight to the U.S. and made it home. We hope to continue our South American adventure as soon as the borders open back up. The picture is our camping spot in front of a spooky abandoned church in Gramolote, Colombia. The whole town was abandoned after a massive mud slide a few years back. There were still human remains inside of the crypts! The last photo is our boon-docking spot in Bear Glacier Provincial Park”

Thank you Doug for sharing your adventure with us! Hopefully you will be reunited with your Northern Lite soon!
