Truck Camper Magazine just publish an interesting DIY article on creating a mount for Rotopax containers to your Northern Lite ladder.

Jeez, yeah….gas can…hadn’t thought of where that’s gonna go in the new rig……
I wonder how those Roto pax hold up to the suns UV’s? My cheap standard hardware store ones fade and puff up pretty bad in the sun.

    Nice modification for extra fuel!
I added a 5 gal NATO style jerry can
for the purpose of carrying extra diesel
on my 2021 Northern Lite 8-11 and was able to mount the holder on opposite side from ladder in front of the access door to the genny. Using a 9/16 drill
I was able to use the mounting bracket as the template and align the holes over and within the tube for the sewer line.
I was then able to fasten using 5/16-18 self cutting hex head bolts for a secure fit. Removal is easy if I need access to the genny maintenance door and the rear door can still swing open all the way.Additionally it is out of the way of the right rear taillight.
I am very happy with this modification
and is a good (and easier) mod that the ladder style mount described here.
