As a new cold weather camper I am wondering how you keep things from freezing while driving in sub 20F weather. I know I can turn my light on in the dump compartment but do people also run the propane heat while driving to keep pipes from freezing? Thanks for any replies.
That little light doesn’t do much, so run your heater while your driving. We also have a little space heater we use when electrical plug in is available. *When I am in between trips in the winter, I keep my hot water tank on (electric element) and a stuff a space heater in my basement on a small platform next to the plumbing. Keeps it all nice and cozy…and ready for a quick get away. Have fun in the snow ❄
Thanks, very much appreciate the information. Gonna be in the teens in the evenings coming up, but so far the 30’s have been a breeze, can’t believe how little propane it’s used, while keeping it very toasty inside.
